Sharing Performance

Yesterday we preformed at the sharing, playing the violin. We played Twinkle Twinkle Little Star in three parts, Si Cantemos as a canon and Spring by Vivaldi. We had so much fun doing it. The string ensemble is new thing to the school we really enjoy having it in the school so we can play the violin. Everybody had a really good time seeing us play in the sharing. As well, everybody that was playing the violin--and Kenny on the double bass, and Anna on the piano, and Daniel on the cello--had a smile on there face and had great time. We hope we can preform again at another sharing.--Maya and Nils

Practice Friday!

Hi string folk,
I think our practice went well today, and it was great to welcome our new member, Jonah. Thanks, as always, to Kit and Daniel for their help.
We will meet again on Friday during second recess to practice once more before the sharing next week. I'll see if we can use the gym, as this is where we will be performing on Wednesday. This might be tricky, however, as the piano is a bit hard to get out of the storage room. We'll see.
